Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9901633A1] A swivelling lever control that can be padlocked for closing switchboard cabinet doors or the like has a trough (18) set on the outer surface (16) of the door (14) or the like and in which the locking shaft (32) is arranged. The actuating lever (28) is articulated at the free ends of the trough (18) so as to swivel out of the trough (18) about an axis (30) transverse to the shaft axis (32). A projection (46, 52) supported on the swivelling lever control (10) has at its free end an eyelet arranged in such a manner that when the lever (28) is swivelled into the trough, a padlock inserted through the eyelet prevents the actuating lever (28) from swivelling out of the trough. According to the invention, the projection can slide, rotate and/or swivel on the actuating lever (28) up to a second fixed projection on the actuating lever, with which it is then aligned, allowing a padlock to be inserted through both eyelets.
