[origin: WO9826204A1] A sealing valve unit (27) for controlling the flow of fluid through a passage (33) defined by the interior surface of a tubular casing (25) comprises a valve body (205) having a longitudinal bore therethrough. The valve body (205), a sealing assembly (211) and a filter element (71) are so constructed that they are held in assembly with one another independent of the tubular casing (25) so that they can be simultaneously installed in and removed from the passage (33) as a single unit.
