[origin: EP0941849A1] The roller (1) is placed against at least one counter-roller and mounted on each side in a bearing shell (5) and connected by at least one spring element (7) to a machine frame (M). The roller is pressed by the spring element in one direction (A), and is float-mounted contrary to that direction. One end of the spring element is fixed to a carriage (8) which is movably held in a guide block (10) fixed to one side wall of the machine frame.
