Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0942102A1] The platform has an upper floating chamber (10) which can be moved up or down its supporting legs (12) by a mechanical system (18), and a storage reservoir (14) designed to rest on the sea bed. The reservoir has a lower aperture (26) connecting its interior to the surrounding marine medium, and a bell chamber (30) containing an air bubble at the top. The reservoir is attached to the lower ends of the platform legs so that its position relative to the floating chamber can be varied by the mechanism (18).
