Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0942125A1] The lock has a housing (1) enclosing the lock mechanism. A rotary barrel (6) projects outwards from the housing and operates the lock mechanism by a key, and a barrel protector (7) surrounding the sides of the barrel and connected to the housing and having an opening (10) for the key. An axially moving tube (11,12) is fitted between the barrel side wall and the protector, and an ejector spring (19) urges the tube towards the front outer end of the barrel. In the event of the barrel protector being cut the tube is moved outwards by the spring and the lock mechanism is fixed in the locked position by a pin (15) and lever (20).
