Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0942254A1] The launcher consists of a pressure resistant two-section main tube (1), having a forward door (8) which is opened when the missile is launched, a rear door (9) for loading the missile and an interior tube (2) to protect it. An annular piston (7) between the outer and interior tubes, designed to force water to the rear for launching the missile, is actuated by power cylinders (7) and springs (6) situated in a ring between the two tubes and made for a relatively slow movement of the piston.
