[origin: EP0942439A1] The cable has at least one electrical conductor (1) inside an insulator (2) made from a polymer compound containing a ceramic filler which is converted, at least superficially, into a ceramic at high temperature. The cable has spaces (4) between the conductors and an outer sleeve (3) made from a polyolefin compound with a metal hydroxide filler which burns completely and converts into residual cinders in the event of fire.
