Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0942496A2] A coaxial plug-connector includes a plug with a front-end socket-plug part (1) and a counter-plug with a front-end pin-plug part (2), in which the inner conductor (5,12) is retained in the outer conductor (3,13) in an insulating material body (4,14). With the socket-plug part (1) joined together with the pin-plug part (2) of the counter-plug, the free inner-conductor ends of one side, and the free outer-conductor ends of the other side, are joined together to make contact under spring tension. At least one part of the inner conductor (5) of the plug comprises a leaf-spring (6) arranged within an insulating tube (7) concentrically aligned with the outer conductor (3), the insulating tube (7) being a finger-type tube extension of the insulating material body (4) jutting into the socket-plug part (1) of the plug, with the leaf-spring (6) bent once, twice or more along its length, normal to its leaf-spring plane. With the plug and counter-plug joined together, the plug pin (11) presses the leaf-spring (6), as a result of the latter's bent shape, against the near wall of the insulating material tube (7).
