[origin: WO9805241A1] A toothbrush having a handle and, attached at one end thereof, a head (1) having longitudinal and transverse axes, the head (1) comprising a curved portion with a plurality of bristle tufts (5) extending therefrom, the curved portion having at least one curved axis with a radius of curvature of less than 300 mm, characterized in that bristle tufts (5) lying along the curved axis are substantially parallel to each other. The invention provides for easier moulding and tufting of the brush.
