[origin: WO9919657A1] Connection unit (4) for a fast-coupling safety joint (1), provided with a main, hollow body (10) which can be connected to a first distribution pipe (2) for a pressurised fluid, a valve element (11), which is mounted such as to slide inside the main body (10), and is maintained by a spring (13) in a first operative position, in which it separates the first pipe (2) from the outer environment in a fluid-tight manner, first releasable stop means (15), which in use define an advanced coupling position of a terminal (5) of a second pipe (3) inside the connection unit (4), in order to permit fluid connection between the first and the second pipe (2, 3) itself, and second releasable stop means (16), which define a withdrawn, safety position of the terminal (5), in which the valve element (11) is disposed in the first operative position, and permits venting of the operative fluid which is disposed beyond the first pipe (2), towards the terminal (5) itself; the first stop means (15) are interposed between the main body (10) and the valve element (11), and the second stop means (16) can co-operate with the terminal (5) in order to render it integral with the valve element (11), during its own displacement between the safety and coupling positions.
