Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2756926A1] The invention concerns a method and a device for monitoring the oxidation of organic compounds present in an aqueous phase, characterised in that it consists in: a) extracting liquid-solid samples taken during oxidation of an aqueous solution containing the organic compounds, on at least two phases in series, the first of which is selective and the following one is complementary or all-round; b) eluting by means of an appropriate solvent, each of the different phases respectively; c) directly analysing, without previous chromatographic fractionation, by means of a detector of chromatography liquid, the eluates derived from each phase; and d) comparing in course of time the global signals obtained, so as to determine the progress of the oxidation reaction.
