Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0943262A2] The lipstick tube has a rod (3) surrounded by an external spring (4). Relative movement between the rod and the spring causes axial displacement of a cup (9) and its lipstick. The rod and the spring can clipped together in the axial direction and include ribs (7) for radial separation. The external radius of the rod and the internal radius of the spring are chosen so that after clipping a permanent stress is exerted between them.
