[origin: EP0943423A2] A flowline process for the manufacture of corrugated cardboard has the prepared layers (21,22) fed over a heating line comprising an array of heating elements (3)and pressed onto the heating elements by pressure plates fitted under a support (5) set across the process line and with elastic springs (11) to provide an even pressure on the cardboard, or onto a pressure film (4.1) which moves with the cardboard. The pressure elements are weighted to provide the optimum pressure.
