[origin: EP0943761A1] A lock with flat tumblers and changeable code comprises tumblers which are composed of two parts (15,14) which have mutually opposite sets of teeth (30,31) which are adapted to mutually mesh according to a preset code. The code is changed by mutually spacing the sets of teeth with a suitable tool (85) and by restoring their meshing according to the code of a new key. <IMAGE>
