Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0943764A1] The door handle (2) of a vehicle, contains two aerial coils (20,22) of a transponder system of a vehicle. The aerials, which are integrated in the door handle, are designed to produce an elliptical polarized magnetic field. One aerial (20) has a flat air insulated coil and the other aerial (22) has a coil, which is wound around two ferrite rods.
