Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0943773A2] The positioning element (1) consists of a base body (2) and an adjustable-height stop buffer (3). The base body has a baseplate (4) with fixing holes (11,12) and a wedge-shaped guide part (5) with at least one angled side surface (8). The positioning element can be fixed to the wing of a vehicle for precise side alignment, along with the bonnet pressed closed against the buffer at the same time, so the hood does not rattle.
