[origin: EP0943778A2] A number of parallel, tubular, light-absorbing shade elements (10) form a roof-type construction for blocking out direct sunlight. The length axes (14) of these elements are oriented at an angle to the essentially horizontal plane in which all the elements are found. Adjacent elements overlap in their length axis direction.
