Abstract (en)
The rotor (1) for the turbo-molecular pump is located within a casing (3), which has one inlet (10) for aspiration and an outlet (8) for delivery. A valve (11) is fitted on the inlet and consists of a valve mechanism (12), fitted into an envelope (13). The envelope is produced so as to be a single piece with the casing of the pump.
