[origin: EP0943808A2] The radial fan has a drum rotor (2), a casing (3) where the air pressure cavity runs spirally to an outflow aperture (5) and a casing tongue (6) at the side walls with a throttle radius, to separate the beginning (4') and end (4) of the pressure cavity. The casing tongue is made with a through curvature (7) over at least part of the width (B) of the casing.
