Abstract (en)
The method is for broadcasting announcements in an open area (101), and involves utilising the loudspeaker (102) by which broadcasts are made within the area, and sensed at a number of points (j). Calculations are carried out for each target zone (123), between a loudspeaker (i) and calibration points. An impulse response is produced to compensate for echoes and attenuation, time inverted and the resulting sound broadcast. The loudspeaker emits a signal: si(t) = Summation fromj of (aj.hij(-t)*S(t) where .hij(t) represents the temporal inversion of the impulse response hij(t), preestablished and memorised, between the loudspeaker i and a point j predetermined from calibrations belonging to the target zones (114,115,123), including a number of calibration points p.
Abstract (fr)
On provoque l'émission depuis un emplacement-cible (12) d'une impulsion acoustique courte, de première durée. On recueille sur un réseau de transducteurs (14) et on enregistre, pendant une seconde durée, supérieure d'au moins un ordre de grandeur à la première durée, les signaux acoustiques provenant dudit emplacement à travers un milieu multi-diffuseur (10). On émet vers le milieu multi-diffuseur, à partir des transducteurs (14), des signaux de retour obtenus par inversion temporelle et amplification de ceux recueillis pendant la seconde durée, ce qui provoque une focalisation et une compression temporelle d'énergie acoustique à l'emplacement-cible. <IMAGE>
