Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9825845A1] According to the inventive method of conveyance of individually held products (3) in a network of conveyor segments (A, B), a holding element (4) is allocated to each product (3). Said holding element (4) holds the product (3) during the entire predetermined path of conveyance by transporting it along different conveyor segments (A, B). Each holding element (4) has at least one first coupling member (1), which enables the holding element (4) to be coupled to conveyor elements having two coupling members (2) and moving along a specific conveyor segment (A, B) or which can be connected to guides extending along the conveyor segments. Control devices (a, b) are provided at delivery points (U) by means of which the holding elements (4) can be decoupled from the conveyor elements or the guides of a first conveyor segment (A) and the holding elements (4) can be coupled to the conveyor elements or guides of a second conveyor segment (B).
