Metal casting mold production, from a mixture of metallic particles and a binder. A bonded foundry mold, for metal casting, is produced by mixing metallic particles of 0.01-2 mm size with 1-20 wt.% binder, pouring the mixture into a mold box containing a pattern plate and then compacting. An Independent claim is also included for a metal casting mold made from the mixture described above. Preferred Features: The metallic particles consist of copper, iron and/or especially aluminum (alloy) and the binder is a clay/water mixture or possibly starch powder.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Gießformen für den Metallguß sowie eine Gießform. Zur Erzeugung einer hohen Abkühlgeschwindigkeit besteht der Formstoff der Gießform aus einem metallischen Werkstoff, dessen Größe im Bereich von 0,01 mm bis 2 mm liegen sollte und der mittels eines Bindemittels gebunden ist, vorteilhaft eines tonhaltigen Bindemittels. Dieser noch rieselfähige Formstoff wird in den Formkasten, welcher eine Modellplatte enthält, eingefüllt und verfestigt. <IMAGE>
