Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0945234A2] The saw has two handles (11,13) each operating a push button actuator (17,20) for the motor switch (18). A manual safety lever (14) in one position (B) activates the chain brake and in a second position (A) releases it. The lever is linked under tension, e.g. with a bowden cable, to the switch operator (22) so that when the lever is in the second position the motor switch opens.
