Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0945265A1] The object of the Patent is a new procedure for wet-process silk-screening curved-surface ceramic pieces of a constant cross-section. To carry out this process, a conventional flat screen (1) is used, with the decorative motif (2), which is transferred to a specific frame (3) which comprises a replica, on two opposite sides, of the outline (4) of the constant cross-section of the piece. On each one of said sides, rigid strips (5) are secured which grip the screen and are attached to the frame (3). The undersides of the spatulas (6) are a replica of the relief of the piece, forming with two identical ones (7') - (7'') attached in parallel, a bath (8) to feed the supply of silk-screening ink throughout the entire silk-screening process. <IMAGE>
