A web of paper, plastic or metal foil is wound by an assembly (1) into a roll (3). The rotating roll rests in a recess (4) on an air cushion maintained by a supply of compressed air (5). The air supply has a unit (11) maintaining the air pressure within a gap (8,9) between the roll and the recess at a given level.

Es wird eine Rollenwickeleinrichtung (1) für eine Materialbahnrolle (3) angegeben mit einer Rollenentlastungseinrichtung, die einen Blaskasten (4) mit einem Druckluftanschluß (5) aufweist. Hierbei möchte man für stabilere Zustände beim Wickeln mit der Druckluftentlastung sorgen. Dazu weist der Druckluftanschluß (5) eine Regeleinrichtung (11) auf, die einen Spalt (8, 9) zwischen der Materialbahnrolle (3) und dem Blaskasten (4) auf einen vorbestimmten Sollwert regelt. <IMAGE>
