[origin: EP0945387A2] A suction gun for placing a running yarn in the entrainment slot of a friction roller driven yarn tube has cutting edges (10) to sever the yarn once it has been trapped by the tube. There are preferably two diagonally opposed, inclined cutters (10,10') inside the mouthpiece (3'). The cutters are replaceable.
