Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0945557A2] The water closet has a cistern with closure (18), which is opened to release a flush. The closure is positioned on water outlets (26) of the bowl. The cistern forms a modular unit with a bowl ring (22), which is formed as a seat. The closure has a mainly hose-shaped membrane (19), which extends into a channel (25) of the ring and is lifted to release a flush. The water closet also has a regulator unit with flush valve to regulate flushing water volume and/or duration.
