[origin: EP0945919A1] A through bore is introduced in the bridge (40) and a cylindrical sleeve inserted, with its own through bore and end flange that sits against one end of the bridge of the rail body. A cover (2) is arranged on the opposite end from the flange at the free end of the sleeve, which has an aperture in its side. The through bore in the sleeve is subjected to an expansion drawing process, resulting in displacement of some of the material bounding on the bore. The material displaced during the process passes into the aperture in the cover and comes into contact with the wall of the aperture. An Independent claim is also included for an electrical contact.
