Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0946009A2] The RDS receiver has an RDS demodulator (6) which demodulates the received RDS data stream and makes available the received program service name or PS code for further use in a display (8). A correction unit (7) contg. an analysis unit and a unit for producing corrected PS code replaces the received PS code with the corrected PS code and provides it to the RDS receiver for further use. An independent claim is also included for a method of operating a RDS receiver.
