Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9828069A1] The invention relates to a dosing and nuancing system for producing coloured substances, comprising at least one mixing vessel positioned on a scale, to which are fed measured quantities of various substances for admixing, containers for receiving the substances for admixing which are connected via supply pipes with feed valves positioned in the feed zone leading to the mixing vessel, as well as feeder devices assigned to the supply pipes, which take the substances to be admixed from the containers via the supply pipes to the feed valves. The scale, feed valves and feeder devices are connected to a control unit, which controls the feeding and dosing of the substances to be admixed in accordance with predefined ratios. Each container (6) for holding a substance to be admixed has a dividing wall (13) which can be moved in the manner of a plunger, is sealed in relation to the container wall and divides the container (6) into two chambers (18, 19) of variable volume. One of these chambers (18) is connected with the supply pipe (8) and contains the substance to be admixed, while the other chamber (19) is connected via a pressure line (16) with a source of a pressure medium. To feed in the substance to be admixed, the pressure medium, guided by a control unit (3), moves the dividing wall (13).
