[origin: WO9817605A1] A process is disclosed for producing explosives from salvaged explosive materials, in particular hexogen or hexogen-containing mixtures. The salvaged explosive materials are wetted with an organic solvent and transformed into a crumbly mass, the crumbly mass is directly supplied to a mixer in which it is mixed with at least one inorganic nitrate and dried by evaporation of the solvent, yielding a finished explosive.
