[origin: WO9826537A1] The invention relates to a method for protected data management in a data bank, whereby the data records upon creation or modification are provided with a user identifier (Ui) and an electronic signature (C) which encrypts the data and the user identifier. In order to create said electronic signature (C), the data (M) is initially reduced along with the user identifier (Ui) to a bit sequence (H) of a predetermined length by means of a hash function (HF) and subsequently encrypted by means of an electronic (preferably asymmetrical) ciphering method.
