Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0947157A1] A plastic funnel (1), with a removable lid (8), is integrally mounted on a bell-shaped base (2) whose rim fits over the salt filler neck (6,7) on the machine. The passage between funnel and base is closed by a horizontally sliding gate or trap (3). After placing the required amount of salt in the funnel, the user places the base over the dishwasher salt filler. The trap is then pulled open, allowing the salt to enter the machine.
