Abstract (en)
The lid, designed to fit a basically cylindrical jar (7), has a cover (2) and a skirt (3) with an inner surface thread to engage with an external thread on the neck of the jar. The inner surface of the lid cover (1) has a series of three concentric lips (5, 6, 11) adjacent to the skirt to engage with the upper rim of the jar. The middle lip (11) being shorter than the outer and inner lips, which are spaced corresponding to the thickness of the rim.

L'invention concerne un couvercle de fermeture (1) pour bocal (7) de forme sensiblement cylindrique, comprenant un fond (2) et une jupe (3) à la périphérie dudit fond et perpendiculairement à celui-ci, la partie intérieure de la jupe comportant un filetage prévu pour coopérer avec le filet extérieur du bocal, dans lequel l'intérieur du fond du couvercle comporte à proximité de la jupe un système de trois lèvres concentriques, à savoir lèvre intérieure (6), lèvre médiane (11) et lèvre extérieure (5), prévues pour s'appuyer sur le rebord supérieur (10) du bocal. <IMAGE>
