[origin: EP0947657A2] The housing for the drive used to operate a window hinged about a central horizontal axis is of a channel shape formed by a pair of extruded sections (1,2) that latch together. Built into this is a chain drive (6) that provides the opening and closing actions. An additional drive is used as an interlock.
