Abstract (en)

The running wheel (9) formed as a hollow shaft (6) is located on the drive shaft (5) and rotates at a speed n2 different to that n1 of the drive shaft. The hollow shaft is driven by a mechanical convertor, which takes mechanical power from the drive shaft in the housing (1) and imparts the different speed to the hollow shaft, so that the speed of the first running wheel which is lower produces a lower net positive suction head value for the multistage pump. The mechanical convertor is a gearwheel gear.

Abstract (de)

Mit der Erfindung sind mehrstufige Zentrifugalpumpen gezeigt, die mehrere auf einer Antriebswelle (5) angeordnete Laufräder (9, 4) aufweisen. Mindestens ein Laufrad ist als Hohlwelle (6) ausgebildet, welche auf der Antriebswelle (5) drehbar gelagert ist und mit einer von der Drehzahl n1 der Antriebswelle (5) verschiedenen Drehzahl n2 dreht. Die Hohlwelle (6) wird von einem mechanischen Umwandler (7) angetrieben, der mechanische Leistung von der Antriebswelle im Gehäuse abnimmt und bei dieser unterschiedlichen Drehzahl n2 an die Hohlwelle abgibt, derart, dass die Drehzahl des ersten Laufrades die niedrigere ist, um einen niedrigen NPSHR-Wert für die mehrstufige Pumpe zu erzeugen. <IMAGE>
