Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0947765A1] The fixing device secures the housing (1) of a recessed ceiling light to a ceiling structure (4) via a sliding holder (7) received in a guide slit (9) along the side wall (6) of the housing perpendicular to the housing edge. The holder is provided by a metal plate with a bearing surface (74) acting against the inside of the side wall and a support arm (76) resting on the ceiling structure at the opposite end, against which is held by a spring (8).
