A process for the production of a camouflage material (I) for the visible, near infrared, far infrared and radar wavelengths comprises: (A) preparation of a carrier fabric (B) removal of processing aids and surfactants from the fabric and drying (C) application of a metal layer onto the fabric (D) application of a primer and camouflage paint onto the metal layer. An Independent claim is included for the resulting camouflage material (I) comprising a support fabric, a metal layer, a primer layer and a camouflage paint for infrared.

Zum kostengünstigen und reproduzierbaren Herstellen eines Tarnmaterials, das sich im wesentlichen zur Tarnung an die Schwankungen der Umgebungstemperatur anpaßt und dabei das spektrale Verhalten der Sonne und der Atmosphäre berücksichtigt, wird ein Verfahren bereitgestellt, bei dem auf der Basis eines Trägergewebes, nach Entfernung von Webverarbeitungsmitteln und dessen Trocknung, eine Metallschicht aufgebracht wird, auf die eine Grundierung abgeschieden wird, die die Trägerschicht eines Tarnlacks darstellt. <IMAGE>
