[origin: EP0948006A2] The switch position and contact degradation display uses two opposing display elements (7,8) respectively associated with the fixed and movable switch contacts (401,411), so that their relative position corresponds to the relative position of the switch contacts, the position of the display elements in the closed switch position indicating the contact degradation.
