[origin: DE19650776A1] A door handle for a furniture unit (20), specially a refrigerator, comprising retaining elements which can be fixed to the door and a longitudinally embodied single-pieced gripping section (21), which has recesses (22) by means of which it is fixed to the retaining elements. Said recesses are configured on the gripping section as blind hole-like cavities accommodating the open end portions of the retaining elements (27), said cavities being adapted at least substantially to the cross-section of the open end sections of the retaining elements.
