Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9829084A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for automatic dispatching of singular items (1), specially an individual pill, from a storage station (2) with several containers. Prepackaged, preselected flat item packagings ("blister") of the same type are piled in the form of substantially vertical storage columns (3) in allocated containers. A blister packaging (4) of a singular item (1) to be dispatched is displaced to a withdrawing position (E) in an area outside the pile, and a collecting shell (5) is positioned thereunder. Subsequently, a withdrawing unit (6) having a withdrawing finger (7) which is allocated to the storage columns (3) is positioned beneath the item (1) to be dispatched which is in the withdrawing position (E). The withdrawing finger (7) is moved downwards against an end support (8) to separate the singular item from the rest of the blister packaging. The separated item falls by gravity in a predetermined cavity (9) of the collecting shell (5). The item (1) to be dispatched is separated by pressing out said item from the packaging with a pushing lug or by cutting out the item with a blade.
