[origin: EP0948914A2] The casing has a cosmetic refill (15) which is contained in a tube (13) and which can be linearly shifted by a feeding mechanism towards the free end of the casing. The feeding mechanism is developed as an automatic push (5) that cooperates with a relevant wire section, e.g. a coil spring (7) of the refill. The automatic push can be operated by a push button (6) provided at the rear part of the casing. The wire section cooperates with a piston member (10) which is provided to the front part of the casing, so as to push the back side of the refill forwards. The piston member which is surrounded by the tube may be tightly moved by frictional resistance. Two seals (11,2) may also be provided around the piston member.
