Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0948922A2] The rail (1) has at least one track (2) along which curtain slides or runners etc. can move. The rail also has an assembly region (3) with a double sided adhesive tape (11) to enable attachment to a wall or ceiling. The rail comprises a flexible plastic profile with a T-shaped cross-section (4) which can be wound up into a roll. The track is formed by the vertical arms of the T-section, whilst the assembly region is formed by the horizontal webs (5) of the T-section. Recesses (12) which may also be provided to the rail, enable use of dowel pins, screws, etc.. Alternatively the profile may have an arched shape and be divided in its longitudinal direction into two half sections, the first section having a connector groove and the second section having a connector spring in the assembly region, these two connector components engaging with each other to form a track.
