[origin: EP0949179A1] A bobbin-frame current supply has a current storage unit (17), which on mains failure, automatically supplies current to maintain synchronism between a bobbin drive and a thread changer. A current supply for the bobbin locations of a bobbin-frame, has a bobbin drive (3) and a thread changer (5), which are electronically synchronized. This includes a current storage unit that is automatically activated, on a mains failure, to supply current to a bobbin rotational speed and/or rotational position sensor and the thread changer drive to maintain synchronism between the bobbin drive and the thread changer.
