[origin: EP0942235A1] A food oven has a jacket (1) incorporating an outlet for cooking vapors discharging to a suction housing with two discrete suction chambers. The housing incorporates a vapor blower fan and a cooling fan, both driven by a single electric motor (23) located between the two fans (39, 41) within the suction housing (19, 21). The cooling fan (39) is fabricated in plastic. The ventilator motor (23) is positioned in the flow of cool air. The ventilator motor (23) is located on a panel (27) separating the two suction chambers (33, 35). The vapor discharge passage (36) is funnel-shaped.
