Abstract (en)
A polarity reversal protection circuit has a positive (1) and a negative (2) input contact, a positive (3) and a negative (4) output contact, in which the negative input contact (2) and negative output contact (4) are electrically connected directly to one another. A switch contact (6) is provided in the current path between the positive input contact (1) and the positive output contact (3). Between the positive input contact (1) and the negative input contact (2) is connected a series circuit of a relay (5), for driving the switch contact (6), and a polarity reversal protection diode (7), which is connected in such a way that with correctly connected input contacts, a current flow is possible. A free-wheeling diode (8) is specifically connected across the relay (5).

Verpolschutzschaltung mit einem positiven Eingangskontakt (1), einem negativen Eingangskontakt (2), einem positiven Ausgangskontakt (3) und einem negativen Ausgangskontakt (4), wobei negativer Eingangskontakt (2) und negativer Ausgangskontakt (4) direkt elektrisch leitend miteinander verbunden sind und wobei im Strompfad zwischen positiven Eingangskontakt (1) und positiven Ausgangskontakt (3) ein Schaltkontakt (6) vorgesehen ist, wobei zwischen positiven Eingangskontakt (1) und negativen Eingangskontakt (2) eine Reihenschaltung eines Relais (5) zur Ansteuerung des Schaltkontaktes (6) und eine zur Polschutzdiode (7) angeschlossen ist, wobei die zur Polschutzdiode (7) so geschaltet ist, daß bei korrekt beschalteten Eingangskontakten (1, 2) ein Stromfluß ermöglicht ist. <IMAGE>
