[origin: EP0949851A1] The high-frequency operation of the low-power low-pressure gas discharge lamp (LP) is performed by a mains rectifier (2) and a half bridge circuit (3). The connection is made by a higher harmonic filter circuit (5) with a diode (D1), capacitor (C1) and a resistor (R9) that connects to the second electrode of the tube.
