[origin: WO9923008A1] The closure has a matching bung plug (10) made of elastic material sealing the filling hole of the liquid container and having a central orifice (18). The valve element (20) of the pressure compensation valve adopts a clearly set closing position and a clearly set pressure compensation position in said central orifice and can be rotated between those two positions which are limited by stops. The bung plug (10) has a lateral pressure compensation duct (42) whose outer mouth is located above the liquid level when the container is filled to the top. In the pressure compensation position, the valve element (20) opens a current path beginning at the inner mouth of the pressure compensation duct (42) on the upper part of the bung plug (10). In the closing position, said path is blocked inside by the valve element, is covered externally and is tightly sealed inwards and outwards.
