Abstract (en)
The woven fourdrinier material, for a machine to produce a fiber web, has wefts (3) which at least partially have a teardrop or triangular pointed cross section. The pointed ends (4) are aligned on the direction (1) of fourdrinier travel. The angle between the bisection (5) of the pointed ends of each cross section and the fourdrinier surface in contact with the fiber web (6) is 2-70 degrees and pref. 5-40 degrees . The side of the wefts (3) towards the fiber web (6) is parallel to the web (6), or at an angled shape to it so that the gap between them is increased against the direction (1) of travel. The side of the wefts (3) away from the fiber web (6) has a flat cross section, pref. aligned on the direction (1) of travel. The warps (2) are flat or round.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Siebgewebe für eine Maschine zur Herstellung und/oder Veredelung einer Faserstoffbahn (6), insbesondere einer Papier-, Karton- oder Tissuebahn bestehend aus zumindest je einer Lage von miteinander verwobenen in Laufrichtung (1) ausgerichteten Längsfäden (2) und quer dazu verlaufenden Querfäden (3). Eine Verbesserung der Haftung der Faserstoffbahn (6) am Siebgewebe wird dabei dadurch erreicht, daß zumindest ein Teil der Querfäden (3) einen etwa tropfenförmigen oder im wesentlichen dreiseitigen, spitzwinkligen Querschnitt besitzt, wobei das spitze Ende (4) etwa in Laufrichtung (1) des Siebgewebes ausgerichtet ist. <IMAGE>
