Traction unit, e.g. toothed belt is guided around a deflection roller (33) mounted on a roller bearing (46). The axial central plane (62) of the roller bearing is aligned with the central plane of the traction unit passing around the deflection roller. Preferably the outer ring of the roller bearing fits in a recess in the deflection roller.

Es wird ein Torantrieb, insbesondere für Garagentore vorgeschlagen. Der Torantrieb weist ein Zugmittelgetriebe (30) auf, das zur Kraftübertragung von einem Antriebsmotor (34) zu dem Garagentor (12) dient. Ein Zugmittel (36) des Zugmittelgetriebes (30) ist um wenigstens eine mittels eines Wälzlagers (46) drehbar gelagerte Umlenkrolle (32, 33) geführt. Dabei fällt die axiale Mittenebene (62) des Wälzlagers (46) im wesentlichen mit der Mittenebene (62) des um die Umlenkrolle (32, 33) geführten Zugmittels (36) zusammen. <IMAGE>
